This difficulty setting is changed by soldering a jumper pad on the game board. Pac-Man has 14 mazes with blue times on the harder setting and 17 mazes with blue times on the easier setting. On the hard setting, all three boards between "They Meet" and "The Chase" have two-second blue times, which is what you'd see on the apple board with the easier game setting.Īll told, Ms. But on the harder setting, the strawberry board gives only about four seconds of blue time, which is what you'd see on the pretzel board with the easier setting. The cherry board gives you about six seconds of blue time regardless of the difficulty setting. heheĪctually, for hard difficulty, the first three boards seem to be advanced by only two mazes, and starting on the fourth board the advance is by three mazes. Looking at those pacplus scores it might be worth going for those. If 5 then that's 60k less in monsters points.so overall 180k higher score than regular pac-man.which would put you over the 3.5 million mark. I think the 2nd pancake is no change.3rd pancake the last blue board for the regular energizers.but can't remember if it was simply 3 board shift or perhaps 5 so the first key was perhaps the last. ![]() I would need to play it again to see how that pans out. That's 240k more points than regular pac-man offers.but pacplus is already in a 'tournament' type mode so you have less boards where you can eat monsters on the regular energizers. ![]() 12k per board.for 20 boards.cuz the fruit energizers keep turning them blue through the 8th pancake. A "perfect" score for pacplus would actually be 3.5+ million.cuz if you eat all 4 on each fruit energizer that's 6000 points for each fruit. I think it's "patterned" also.so if you develop a pattern or semi-pattern for getting all 4 to turn blue and eat them on energizers, you can get a higher score.perhaps 3.4+ million. Although I haven't played it enough to tell, it seems the order you do things like trigger and eat the fruit, eat energizers affects which one of the 4 doesn't change blue on the 4 regular energizers.or if all 4 turn blue. However, you also have the fruit energizer.which can make up for the lost points on the regular energizers.so a 3.3+ million score seems very possible for this game.yet no one has achieved this. You can't just group and nail and eat them all like you do in regular pac-man. ![]() In pacplus, when you hit an energizer you can end up with only 3 of the 4 monsters turning blue. How close their scores are to a potential score is hard to say though. If you want a pac-man game with more difficulty.just play pac-plus! The scoreboard only lists 2 players that appear to likely have reached the split-screen. All would score a little less cuz less boards to eat monsters on. Given the best can eat all of the monsters even on the shortest blue-time boards nothing really changes there. The shortest blue time boards are 1 second blue times. The monsters move around the exact same way.fruit is same etc. However, it doesn't change the play at all except for that. Do's Castle, New Rally X, Pengo, Phoenix, Pinball Action, Pleiads, Pooyan, Qix, Scramble, Shao-Lin's Road, Space Panic, Super Breakout, Super Cobra, Tank Battalion, The End, Time Pilot, Van-Van Car, Xevious, and Zaxxon. All you can do is put them at "hard" difficulty.which all that does is "advance"/shift the blue times by 3 boards.įor example, the blue time on the cherry board in mspac at "hard" would be the same as the pretzel on the normal difficulty.the strawberry would be like the apple, etc. ![]() (Fast), Galaxian, Galaga 3, Galaga (Rapid), 1942, 1943, 1943 Kai, Amidar, Arkanoid, Bomb Jack, Congo Bongo, Crush Roller, Smoke, Gyruss, Hustler, Jumping Jack, Juno First, King and Balloon, Ladybug, Mappy, Moon Cresta, Mr. Pac-Man (Fast), Pac-Man (Fast), Pac-Man Plus (Fast), Pac-Man Jr. Pac-Man, Pac-Man, Galaga, Donkey Kong, Donkey Kong Junior, Donkey Kong III, Frogger, Burger Time, Space Invaders, Centipede, Millipede, Dig Dug, Dig Dug 2, Pac-Man Jr., Pac-Man Plus, Super Pac-Man, Ms. New commercial-grade joysticks and buttons for arcade gameplay.
